From 1925 to 1932, Joseph Schumpeter held a full professorship at the University of Bonn. He turned Bonn into a meeting point for economists from around the world.
, where for the first time in decades he once again taught theory at a German university. The essays Schumpeter wrote during this period, such as Social Classes in an Ethnically Homogeneous Environment (1927), he later regarded as his most important works.
